Hard to find VW data link connectors
1 1996 - 1998 Cabrio
DLC located in dash at right side of ashtray. Remove ashtray and slide access panel to the left.
2 1996 - 1998 Jetta
DLC located in dash at right side of ashtray. Remove ashtray and slide access panel to the left.
3 1996 - 1998 Golf
DLC located in dash at right side of ashtray. Remove ashtray and slide access panel to the left.
4 1996 - 1997 Passat
DLC located in dash, right of steering column under instrument cluster. For access, remove panel between steering column and radio. Look for engine depiction on panel.
5 2003 Eurovan
DLC located at bottom of exposed steering column cover.
